“As long as I’m living my baby you’ll be”

To a little lady whose absence is especially noted today.

“I’ll love you forever,
I’ll like you for always,
As long as I’m living
my baby you’ll be.”

-Robert Munsch, “I’ll love you forever,” written for his two babies, born still.

Thank you all for the love on this day.  A day I was not particularly looking forward to has turned out to be quite heartwarming. xoxo

  1. So glad you shared this today. It’s perfect for Mother’s Day. I’ve been thinking of you and Mabel a lot today!

  2. What an amazing video. I love the music. Halloween as a twosome was a big deal for me also (“we” went as a bowling ball). And I recognized the quote from An Exact Replica of a Figment of My Imagination! I buried my Sacha in the snow, too. Sending you and your family lots of love.

    • thank you! I really enjoyed picking out the music. I walked down the aisle to here comes the sun and our first dance was to hallelujah. plus we played it for mabel before we gave her up. It was the only song I had on my phone.

love the bowling ball image. my cowboy outfit (which involved a mens shirt) totally hid my bump. plus I think the moustache distracted people from my belly!

  3. Meghan, I must’ve missed this point. I literally just sat here crying hysterically. This was so beautiful in so many ways. ❤

Can you contact me via email? I have a question for you.

  4. I stumbled upon your blog when I googled “oxygen levels in children”. I too sat here and cried and cried. My hubby came in to see what was wrong. We watched your video and read some of your posts and cried together. I am so very sorry for your loss. My heart hurts for you and your family. I don’t even know you but I wish there was something I could do. I just hat to tell you that you write so beautifully, and that your story has touched my heart.
